Bone replacement, calc-i-oss CRYSTAL
calc-i-oss ™ CRYSTAL consists of biphasic calcium phosphate (BCP), a compound composed of
0% hydroxyapatite and 40% ß-tricalcium phosphate (ß-TCP) and contains no substances
animal or human origin.
Room for regeneration
Macropores provide space for vascularization and bony regeneration. The
ranulate are microporous throughout for optimal fluid exchange. calc-ioss
™ CRYSTAL has a total porosity of around 70%.
Integration in bones
calc-i-oss ™ CRYSTAL is biocompatible and osteoconductive. The ß-TCP portion is absorbed.
